The ideal candidate has 2-3 years' experience in client communications/marketing and will serve as an essential company brand ambassador. Must be proactive, detail-oriented professional with ability to anticipate needs, multitask while meeting deadlines, and provide exceptional customer service. Construction Administrator/Assistant Estimator

Residential design + build firm in downtown Bethesda seeks Construction Administrator/Assistant Estimator to join its Production team. Great opportunity for number cruncher who thrives on detail and accuracy. Assist with vendor contracts/purchase orders, scope and scheduling of subcontractors, and managing updated drawings, specs, and submittals. Responsible for  trackingRFPs, change orders, takeoffson multiple projects at same time. Work directly with Project Developer and Production Coordinator to learn the finer points of job cost analysis, pricing methodologies, value engineering, and more. Degree in construction management and experience in residential construction preferred. 

 

Architect/Designer 

Award-winning design + build firm in Bethesda seeks architect/designer. The ideal candidate has a Bachelors or Masters in Architecture and experience in residential design and construction. This person will be ready to serve the design team and design process on all fronts. He/she exudes confidence, knows how to exceed expectations, and thrives in a team environment. Additionally, this candidate will be proactive and detail-oriented as well as able to anticipate needs of the design team and multitask while meeting deadlines. Revit experience required.

Remodeling Project Manager

Residential design + build company seeks Project Manager to oversee high-end construction projects. Candidate must have residential construction experiencepreferably in home remodeling. Responsibilities include:

  • Perform project planning, create timelines, and manage budgets.
  • Track costs, including invoices, change orders, and budget variances.
  • Manage clients, engineers, inspectors, and other vendors.
  • Monitor and update construction schedules to ensure contractors and vendors perform on schedule and within budget.
  • Conduct and document quality inspections throughout construction process.
  • Consult with inspectors to ensure that the project complies with applicable regulations and meets the project delivery dates.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate reoccurring construction issues.

Candidate must be computer-literate with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with MS-Project is a plus but not required. Ideal candidates will have at least 5 years of project management experience. Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle is required.
